    Elephant meat being sold in restaurants is no laughing matter. I'm disgusted by this cartoon, especially since the elephant is being served arse-end to the customer, which as everybody knows, is not the way it's done unless you're dining in France... No, the more I look at this cartoon, the more I see you've got the basics all wrong!

  2. This cartoonist is a stickler for detail and researches every drawing exhaustively. He points out that this cartoon IS in fact set in France - you will note the early 19th century French revival Baroque legs on the table - but that the caption is set in English for those poor buggers out there who do not speak French.
